Notes: I recently had the opportunity to read a scanlation of the Yellow EX manga and was dismayed to discover that the canon contradicts one key point in this fic: that Taki and Goh return to their jobs as snatchers upon their return home. I had thought to simply ignore the contradiction and keep the story canon merely through the original manga series, but then I had the thought of incorporating the EX into this fic, so that is what I have attempted to do in this chapter. I hope the folks who have read Yellow EX will be able to see not only where, but how easily I fit it into my storyline here. There is no edited version of this chapter (no smex, sorry).

Summary: Taki and Goh return from their honeymoon and settle back into their job as snatchers, but happily-ever-afters are stories for fairy tales and the two men still have a long way to go in their relationship.
Notes: This idea sprang from something I remember reading after volume 1's release. Someone at that time had suggested that the correct way for this relationship to come to fruition was for the two men to "switch." At the time I had agreed, but since then Taki had been set up to become the uke in the relationship rather decidedly and I abandoned the idea of its plausibility. This is my attempt to work through this concept. Could it ever work and if so, how? Anyway, this story is indeed the followup to In Their Own Words. There are going to be two versions: the "full" version, which I am posting first and an "edited" version which I will post next for anyone who does not want to read the graphic yaoi content. Please enjoy.
